NWRA Safety Monday Offers Tips to Avoid Slips, Trips and Falls
Arlington, VA – This week’s Safety Monday, presented by Republic Services, offers important tips to help waste collection workers avoid slips, trips and falls in the workplace.
“Slips, trips and falls are major causes of workplace injuries,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA). “Unsafe conditions and behaviors, along with a lack of safety awareness, can lead to these types of accidents.”
“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
